Why silver?

Silver as an investment

Silver is commonly known as “the poor man’s gold” because it is cheaper than gold, but also resists inflation and keeps its value for years. Since the XXI century, both gold and silver are appreciated in every currency by 7-11% on average. Silver is a tangible asset (like gold or real estate) and is therefore independent from central bank’s actions and any country’s monetary policy.

Offer

What kind of silver do we offer?

We offer bars weighing between 600 and 1350 ounces with the highest purity of the metal. Due to the nature of silver casting, individual bars never have the exact same weight. Any deviations are considered in the price. When purchasing silver from us, you pay exactly the amount corresponding to the actual weight of the bar.

The London Bullion Market Association (LBMA) certifies the purity and weight of silver.

lbma

Accreditation is a confirmation of the high quality of a product. With LBMA, the accreditation applies to products made by producers (refinery, mint) of precious metals.

What requirements does a refinery or a mint have to meet in order to be approved by the association?

First, the fineness of the precious metal is important - with silver, the product must have a fineness of at least 995. In addition, manufacturers must provide all the information on their products, such as serial number, fineness, weight, year of manufacture and stamp. The bars we offer have all these features.

The price of silver may fluctuate slightly as it depends on several factors: metal availability, transport costs and order size. The exact price is determined on the basis of the market price (spot price) at the time of the purchase decision. It includes all the costs associated with delivering the metal to the Loomis warehouse. To check a specific price at a moment, please contact us via the form at the end of the page.

Safety

Jurisdiction and storage of silver

To ensure the best price, security of transactions and metal storage, we use Swiss jurisdiction and Loomis bonded warehouses.

Switzerland

Swiss jurisdiction is one of the safest in the world, known for respecting property rights and privacy. Because of its neutrality, over the centuries, Switzerland has built up a reputation as a reliable and safe country. Switzerland has stable laws, so we are sure of both the correctness of the transaction and tax issues. Our clients put their trust in a partner who must meet stringent Swiss business standards.

Loomis

Loomis International is one of the largest companies in the world in providing services such as the transportation and storage of valuable goods. In Switzerland alone, Loomis stores silver and gold worth at least 5 billion francs. The company’s warehouses are all over the world. In Switzerland alone, there are 9 of them and they are all perfectly protected.

The silver we offer is located in Kloten near Zurich, right next to the air terminal. As a client of Loomis, you can arrange an audit of your own assets two weeks in advance. The cost of Loomis storing gold and silver depends on the type and value of the metal stored. The following links provide the current price lists for individuals and companies.

Because of our many years of successful cooperation, Loomis included our company on the list of “recommended partners”.
